Relationships Australia Tasmania (RA Tas) is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our dynamic Support and Case Management team.

In this rewarding role, you will provide expert counselling and case management by offering therapeutic support and guidance to individuals facing a range of challenges.  You will also provide professional supervision to staff, ensuring our team upholds the highest standards of practice.

As a Senior Practitioner, you will:

  • Deliver comprehensive counselling and case management services.
  • Provide effective supervision to staff, fostering professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to develop staff and ensure ethical practice.
  • Implement and monitor supervision arrangements.
  • Lead and participate in supervision meetings and group processes.
  • Ensure service quality meets best practice standards.
  • Promote RA Tas services to our referral base and the community.
  • Contribute to professional development initiatives.
  • Uphold child safety protocols and a safe working environment.

Do you fit the bill:

  • Hold a degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field.
  • Have demonstrable experience in counselling, case management, and supervision.
  • Possess a strong understanding of counselling theory, trauma-informed approaches, and risk assessment.
  • Effectively communicate and engage with diverse clients.
  • Demonstrate leadership and the ability to mentor and support colleagues.

  • Salary range $95,942 – $101,552 + Super / *Pro-rata
